Creative Director

It’s a grey day. Your head’s in a haze and the pressure is mounting. You’ve got to deliver jazz on a plate for Maserati but they only have a Micra budget. How do you feel? And where do you start?

We’re looking for a Creative Director capable of performing whatever the challenge. We’ve already built a reputation for delivering award winning social media under extreme circumstances and now we need to level up.

We’re on the hunt for a Creative Director with heaps of ambition, enthusiasm and can-do attitude to lead our creative work. The role will entail being very hands-on in terms of execution of the big ideas and creative strategies and will require a proactive approach to creative problem solving. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about social media and craves working with other smart people to solve tough design challenges.

The incumbent for this role will be responsible for communicating FreshNetwork’s creative and business philosophy, methodology and capabilities to current and potential clients. The candidate will also work across all teams and service lines as well as develop and execute account growth strategies with the account team members to meet P&L goals.  Presentation skills are essential at this level as you will be required to present and sell creative strategies and ideas.

The ideal candidate is someone who is constructive, charismatic, smart and committed to producing high quality user-centered social media experiences. Graphic design expertise is mandatory along with team management and client facing skills. Although initially working as an individual contributor, the candidate in this position will have the desire to one day build, inspire, direct, mentor and enhance the efforts of a future creative team consisting of designers and information architects as the company grows. The candidate must have a well-rounded understanding of experience design, information architecture, usability practices, and technology. Brainstorm facilitation, day-to-day shepherding of a project to completion as well as collaboration with Account Directors, and technology leads are all part of daily life for the Associate Creative Director.

Create social media programs that deliver measurable results against clients’ strategic objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and frame creative concepts according to creative brief requirements
  • Develop all creative work and track progress according to plan created for the project
  • Visualize, design and conceptualize user experiences and create visual prototypes and screens
  • Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables
  • Lead development of the creative team culture and quality standards
  • Proactively seek out new solutions, presentation styles and updated software
  • Provide input to strategy and rationale for client presentations
  • Provide thought leadership to client and internal teams and defines best practices or standards that are used across engagements. Presents findings to senior clients.
